Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #211 – July 14-20, 2025

Hello hi welcome to a new edition! This wee Disneyland Paris celebrated Bastille Day in style as usual, and we also take a look at all the projects. Let’s go!

Bastille Day

This week was Bastille Day and Disneyland Paris celebrated as per tradition with a big one-night-only show. In recent years, the show was also the occasion for the Resort and partner Dronisos to show off their talent in drone + multimedia shows and this year was no exception. While the show was largely unchanged, it did feature a couple new designs like the wonderful “postcard” above and a giant 3D heart design.

Check out the full video of this amazing yearly show in our video just above, a great occasion to go back to the “big” drone scenes which, while still lovely, are not as impressive in the nightly show Disney Tales of Magic.

It’s also nice to note the Guest Flow team has made some efforts that night to ease the.. flows of Guests.. with some markings and a little bit more organisation than the usual utter chaos and fighting during night shows at Disneyland Paris. Well done!

All the departments also joined in after the show and during the day with special character appearances from EPC..

All day at THE Main Street pop up bar from F&B..

And with a celebratory pin from merchandise.

Another fantastic “special day” of extra magic again following the recipe perfected at Disneyland Paris

Construction and Refurbishments

Let’s dive right in at Disney Adventure World. Photos like the one above will be very interesting to look back at when it’s all done and open!

World Of Frozen is really getting closer now, with the North Mountain almost finished (just needs one famous Ice Castle), Arendelle Castle receiving additional details and of course Arendelle Town looking more and more like a typical Norwegian village with lampposts and part of the Friendship fountain. Of course there’s a lot left to finish, from paving to lighting, theming details, safety procedures, attraction, shows and F&B testing etc over the next 8 months.

Around Adventure Bay a lot of pocket areas are being worked on: the swivel bridge with its cute little gate houses, the gardens, viewing areas and boardwalks.

Work also made some progress on the show building (and snack), “Regal View Restaurant and Lounge”, “Raiponce Tangled Spin” and Adventure Way as a whole.

Jumping over to Disneyland Park, a second temporary control room has appeared on Central Plaza, likely while the current one receives some upgrades.

Also in relation to night show, this little window behind Castle Stage has received automatic doors and a wiper as this will be the location of the Sleeping Beauty Castle projector, currently operating out of a temporary box.

Castle Stage itself however is still moving at a glacial pace.

At Space Mountain, work continues on the new lighting package and show building refurbishment.

And at Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast – Buzz has gone for a little vacation.

Over in Fantasyland, scaffolding is up for the refurbishment of Fantasyland Station which, for some reason, was a priority.

Over at Disney Village, the Sports Bar is receiving its signage light box.

Super fast progress continues at the new Disney Village McDonald’s

And let’s say “average speed” progress at the new Disney Hotels security gates with a nice little paved area and gardens.

Closer to the front, work is ongoing on two projects across from each other: the new Italian restaurant Casa Giulia, and the continuation of the remodel / repaving of the district’s entrance.

And that’s our roundup of everything happening at Disneyland Paris on this summer week! Thanks for reading and sharing and I will see you again next time for more news.
