Welcome to the 200th Edition of the DLPReport! It’s been a lot of fun (and a lot of work) recapping every week at Disneyland Paris with all of you, and creating a permanent record of our content, which can’t be replaced by social media feeds. Thank you for your support and here’s to the next 200! On with the news..
Disney Music Festival Media Event

While the season started a week ago (see our previous edition for all the coverage), this weekend we got the chance to join other media for the official Disney Music Festival event. The Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel Convention Center was turned into a Beach Club for the occasion.

Goodies were given out of this cute Citroen vintage truck.

And we also got to take a look at some of the creative processes for the season, with sketches and costumes on display.

We also got to hear from the creatives who put together this technically and creatively intricate season across Disneyland Park.

Back in the park we caught up with the stars of the season.

And in the evening got to enjoy a privatized area in Frontierland for a summertime vibe / street food media dinner.

This was also the opportunity to catch the VIPs in their Disney Music Festival outfit in proper photo locations with backgrounds. Costumes are really nice for this season.
Our thanks to Insidears, and the Disneyland Paris teams for this fun day!
Disneyland Pass

Disneyland Paris launched a Disneyland Pass “Kids” product (3-11 y.o). Mirroring the Bronze/Silver/Gold adult denominations, they only feature park access, based on validity calendars (+ EMT for Gold). Bronze €223, Silver €378, Gold €523. They are now on sale online.

And what do you know – the renewal offer is BACK. Disneyland Pass holders can get 15% off their choice of pass + a lanyard (above) if they renew in person only at the Disneyland Park ticketing desks:
- up to 1 month before expiration (new pass valid day after expiration)
- or up to 1 month after (new pass valid day of purchase)
Pop Up Surprises – Disney Cruise Line

It’s a new edition of Pop Up Surprises and this time the theme (or marketing synergy) is Disney Cruise Line! Guests can meet Robert Captain Mickey or Minnie depending on the day.

And in the next room they’ll come face to face with Captain Jack Sparrow.

The backdrops for both rooms are pretty well done – as is often the case for this offering.

Guests were gifted this luggage tag and postcard – while stocks last. Pop Up surprises is mostly sold out for the entire run but do check the AP Portal for any cancellations or additional slots.
Construction and Refurbishments

This week we welcomed back Animagique Theater now sponsored by Visa. The facade received a fancy LED video ribbon, a new mural in the queue and a nice refurbishment overall. We are still waiting for the large tarp on the facade.

Nearby, work has started on the Tower of Terror queue weatherproofing project and the new shop taking over the Fastpass distribution kiosk. As a result a temporary overflow queue is setup in Production Courtyard. It’s awful. But necessary. I guess.

Taking a look at Disney Adventure World – everything is ticking along nicely with as always more pacing and infrastructure coming together.

At Toy Story Playland, concrete was being poured for the new entrance road. Progress!

In the Resort Hub this stretch of walls has finally been repaired. They were damaged by a billboard that fell during a storm.

And here it was.
May The 4th

The May the 4th celebration will return to Disneyland Paris next weekend with a surprise. Join us for our coverage in the next edition. There will be snacks (above) and they’re very boring.

Some preparations have already started like with this temporary stage in Discoveryland.
