Another year of Magic, and another anniversary conference providing more details on the future of the Resort. We’ve got the roundup of all the major announcements, updates and concept art shared by Disneyland Paris on this April 12. Let’s dig in!
Disney Adventure World
“Up” Attraction

Lots of rumors have been flying around as to what will fill that empty plot next to Tower of Terror, and we now know that it will be a flying chair Attraction.
While Disney Adventure World needs more Attractions for young kids, and this plot can really only hold an attraction of this size, it’s still a very basic ride system, showing the lack of ambition (budget?) for the area and the project in general.
The queue looks lovely and the theming, while simple, seems qualitative however, and it should add some kinetic energy to the gardens.

With the addition of this attraction, we get an updated concept art for Adventure Way, also reflecting some of the choices that were made during construction.
Lion King Land

This new concept art gives us a closer look at the slightly reimagined design of the Lion King-themed attraction, featuring a main drop of 16 meters.. On the right, it looks like we will get an exit / shop. On each side it also looks like the trees will feature some colorful lights which will probably look fantastic at night.

We’re also getting a look at one of the scenes for the Attraction, depicting Simba’s first meeting with Timon and Pumbaa. Looks like we’re getting 3 animatronics in that scene.
Regal View Restaurant and Lounge

Finally a bit more details for the lakeside restaurant. We now know that the table service location will feature Princess meet and greet, a popular offering. It’s hard to really makeup the theme but it seems in line with the exterior and the general vibe of the area.
Construction Progress

As part of the presentation we got to see how works are progressing on Adventure Way, and in particular a closer look at the “Raiponce Tangled Spin” pond and boat prop.

We also got an update from World Of Frozen which is looking lovely – and very much like Hong Kong Disneyland, not that it’s a bad thing, at least on the outside.

With all this activity, Disneyland Paris has created a new area map showing the layout of Disney Adventure World.
Model

In the showroom part of the media conference, we got another look at the Disney Adventure World overall model which has been moved to Paris and updated with the latest Up Attraction announcement.

Walt Disney Imagineering also showed some of the elements from the project.
World Premiere

With the crews racing to open the re-imagined location in a few weeks, we get an inside look at the project.

A new poster for the World Premiere has also been revealed.
Disney Hotels

Did you have Disney Sequoia Lodge on your bingo card for this event ME NEITHER! The hotel’s refurbishment has been rumored for a while and some tests are in place but this is a completely redesign, abandoning the National Geographic idea thankfully and going back to the “cost mountain” roots of the hotel. The rooms boast natural wood, brass and green furnishing with some light Bambi motifs – it looks fantastic!

In the lobby and the common area the concept is more of a refresh, with some new furniture and a few redesigns but that’s ok, because these areas are already fantastic and just need a bit of a modern touch. The renovation will take place in phases starting in 2026.
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch

Announced a year ago, the refurbishment of Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is progressing, and we have a look at some of the first cabins that have been rebuilt with a Woodchuck theme. The first new bungalows will be available for booking starting June 12, 2025, for stays after the summer.
Disneyland Park

Disneyland Paris you say? Sadly no updates again this year apart from a few little things – like this treasure hunt experience which will soon be added to the Adventure Isle caves.

And over in Frontierland, the Rivers Of The Far West will be getting an update to the storyline.

The covered terrace at “Casey’s Corner” will open in June 2025.
Hollywood Tower Hotel Queue

Construction to add a cover over the outdoor queue of the Hollywood Tower Hotel will begin later this month. The project will also expand the attraction’s storyline with a new twist.
Disney Music Festival

In the showroom part of the conference we for a look at lovely costumes for the Disney Music Festival which starts on April 19.
