Special Report: Disney Adventure World Media Event

It’s March 29, 2026! Ok now that’s out of the way let’s talk about everything we saw, heard and learned about Disney Adventure World and World Of Frozen today during our media event and site visit!

World Of Frozen

After so many years of looking at it from Parachute Drop, we finally for the incredible chance to visit World Of Frozen at Disney Adventure World.

As you would expect the land looks absolutely incredible with a level of detail matching what we’ve come to expect from recent Walt Disney Imagineering projects. Despite looking a lot like Hong Kong Disneyland’s version, the layout and design of different in many small ways. For example the poet awning is a merchandise kiosk here, but we don’t have a bakery. The fountain is also a bit different and of course we don’t have the big natural mountain range behind.

We were allowed to take a few photos during our tour as the WDI team showed us the highlights of the land and its story.

In Paris – maybe due to our different weather – the story revived around the “Sunflower Festival” which celebrates Anna and Elsa’s true love. So we’re not doing summer snow day here – probably because it’s very often NOT summer weather in Paris.

You may have seen him in our photo above – YEP Olaf – the real Olaf – will be walking around World Of Frozen at Disneyland Paris next year! WDI has been working hard on creating this high tech rendition. And that’s all I’ll say to not break the magic too much! It was incredible to meet him!

And here he is on video!

During the day, Guests will get to enjoy the Celebration of Arendelle in the Arendelle Poet (away from the main Adventure Bay Marina).

Here are the models for the 3 boats/floats that will be part of the show. One of them contains a (pretty cool looking) on-board fountain. It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out !

“Inside” Arendelle Castle, guests will get a “Royal Encounter” with Anna and Elsa, and here’s a first look at the design of this photo location.

On the merchandise level – they didn’t come to play! Clothing, accessories, collectibles, pins, plush… there is something for everyone (some of these photo weren’t posted on our socials).

There’s even a first – Rùna the Troll: an interactive toy that not only moves and talks to it owner but also talked to other Rùnas, and reacts when he’s taken to various areas of the land – for example if you’re taking him into the Attraction. Also can’t wait to see how this turns out!

When it comes to food, Nordic Crowns Tavern is the quick service location for World Of Frozen at Disney Adventure World and from what we understand the idea will be “build you own bowl”, where you get to pick a base, a protein and various sides with a Scandinavian flare (which I am sure will be surreal for Scandinavian guests!). Sounds interesting, and different!

At the end of the media event, a light and drone show revealed the fateful date in the sky. You can watch the full show in our video just above.

So that’s World Of Frozen for today! At the end of the day, Arendelle Castle was fully lit and wow – it really looks incredible. We can’t wait to visit again when everything is up and running!

Cascade of Lights

We finally have a name – Cascade of Lights and some new visuals for the Disney Adventure World nighttime show that will also debut on March 29. The show is 16 minutes long, will feature a range of popular IP’s, and a new theme song “We Could Be Heroes”.

To produce this show, a big floating barge will be pieced together each night 2 hours before the show, dragged in onto the marina in 5 pieces by quiet electric tug boats. The barges will contain water screens, fireworks, lights and the famous low flying “water drones” that will take off right from the central element of the float. Looking forward to see this!

Raiponce Tangled Spin

As part of our tour we got a closer look at the wonderful show building for “Raiponce Tangled Spin” which features some fantastic artwork!

The ride vehicles and the lighting are also great. Yes – it’s “just a tea cup attraction” but what a beautiful one.

So many fantastic little details.

Here are some of the designs for this lovely little attraction. It will open right off Adventure Way on March 29 as well.

Regal View Restaurant and Lounge

The “Regal View Restaurant and Lounge” building has been polarizing and well, it is a vibe. But inside ?

What a great surprise. A reader described it as European Opulence and I can’t unsee it now. Some fantastic elaborate designs, artworks and overall atmosphere. This might be the best original design for Disney Adventure World.

The location features a bar and a restaurant area (which will be character dining). One thing to keep in mind though – the intention here is to provide an upscale experience so 1) prepare yourself for the price and 2) let’s hope the food quality and level of service matches the ambition.

In any case it’s looking like a great anchor for Adventure Bay and if you were wondering about the benefits well there it is: look at that Regal View.

A lot of details to discover here. And of course can’t wait to sit by the window with a cocktail.

Around Adventure Bay

Amongst the gardens, plazas and kiosks of Adventure Bay and Adventure Way, there will also be plenty of activity. Mickey and Minnie will “meet and play” with guests in these new outfits. Raounzel and Flynn, Miguel and more Disney Friend swill also be on hand (in similar settings as the Disney Music Festival, if you remember) . A marching band will also make its way around Adventure Bay… reminiscent of the Disney Music Festival as well.

Also around Adventure Bay, Guests will find versions snack locations: “La Terrasse Panoramique”, will serve bread bowls and New York rolls. And on the other side, the show control building will host “Café Luminosity” serving hot dogs and sweet treats like cinnamon rolls. Lots to look forward to.

And that’s our coverage of the Disney Adventure World November 24 media event! What an incredible day.
We hope you enjoyed following along, and all the work that was, as always, put into producing this content by our team. Our thanks to Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Imagineering for hosting us, and stay tuned for more details about Disney Adventure World as we race towards the March 29 opening!
