Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #237 – Feb 8-15, 2026

Welcome to a new edition of the DLP Report! With new entertainment launched last week at Disneyland Park we’re now in full approach pattern for the Disney Adventure World opening. Let’s take a look at the latest!

Disney Adventure World

It’s almost time to open up the gates, but not for the Adventure Way “Up” spinner which will be ready in 2027. Teams are hard at work however and it appears that they’re trying to at least put up the main walls before the official opening of the area.

You can now clearly make up the shape of the queue building as per the concept art.

Just behind, another team is also hard at work likely trying to get the foundations for the Lion King Themed land out of the way ASAP.

In the areas that ARE opening on March 29, it’s down to the final details with landscaping, AV, lighting and more teams hard at work.

A lot of areas that we’ve really seen pop up slowly are looking almost ready for prime time, from the new Toy Story Playland entrance to the lake shores and the “Regal View Restaurant and Lounge”.

A final crane at the North Mountain which should hopefully come down soon!

A handful of legacy media got the chance to ride the Disney Adventure World edition of Frozen Ever After, which features the new animatronics. The songs are in English, and some of the dialog in French. You can watch the video from Sortir à Paris HERE

And clearly World Of Frozen is now open for the broadcast team who shot a lovely Valentines Day video across the land, showing the quick service restaurant, the village and the meet and greet. You can watch it HERE

However what everyone has been talking about is how out of place all these black speaker look. They do have some sort of “iron forge” theming but it’s true that overall and from afar, they are pretty poorly integrated. Other speakers in the land care better and are hidden in walls, windows and other architectural elements.

The merchandise team is also kicking into high gear with the first release of spirit jerseys themed to World Of Frozen an Disney Adventure World.

Disney Adventure World and World Of Frozen theming is also being deployed on shopping displays.

And at the Walt Disney Studios Park entrance, work was ongoing to rework the main gate, likely for the arrival of Disney Adventure World branding.

It’s all gonna accelerate from here so here are the key dates:

  • February 28: Cast Members Test and Adjust Days begin, followed by Friends and Family (under embargo except designated selfie spots)
  • March 14: Influencer Event, the first free-to-post-anything opportunity
  • March 15: Disneyland Pass Previews begin
  • March 28-29: Official Opening Weekend

See you then!

V Day

Not a ton going this year for Valentines Day: decorations in the Disney Hotels, special cocktails, some merchandise and a few roaming characters on the day.

Welcome Back, Meet Mickey

The iconic Meet Mickey attraction (which really should be turned into Mickey Minnie Railway) has reopened do a longer than usual refurbishment.

Most of the work focused on technical upgrades and repairs for the building which was really showing its age with waterproofing, mold and ventilation issues.

It’s now hopefully all fixed, and the inside has received a few refreshes as well.

Welcome back, Mickey!

Construction and Refurbishments

Well the day is almost here! After a super fast construction project, the new McDonalds location at Disney Village is almost ready for prime time. Join us this Wednesday February 18 from 10am CET as we get a special preview of the restaurant and meet with the McDonalds PR Teams. Pa-la-pa-pa-pa (McDonald’s jingle).

Around Disney Village slicing and dicing of the legacy buildings continues, currently to transform the Disney Store into Disney Wonders.

At the front of Disney Village, the new security gate is almost ready. The goal here is not only capacity, it’s also the ability to keep this smaller, more manageable gate open for Disney Village and the Disney Hotels while closing the other gates on the Fantasia Gardens site after hours.

Talking about Fantasia Gardens, several gazebos haves been chopped off completely. They may have been rotten. Hopefully they will return.

Popping in to the non Disney Adventure World (yet) part of Walt Disney Studios Park – the covered queue for Tower of Terror has made some good progress.

Slinky lost an ear!

And at Disneyland Park, Pua and Hei Hei have returned after they were broken months ago.

This and That..

The new Disneyland Pass prices (and the new ultra light option without park hopping) are now in effect. A reminder :

  • Bronze One: €289 new “extra light” option, no park hopping
  • Bronze Max : €289 -> €399
  • Silver : €499 -> €569
  • Gold : €699 -> €799
