Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #235 – January 12-18, 2026

Welcome to a new edition of the DLP Report! It’s reset time at the Resort with a return to basics before the February holidays. Still we’ve got some news and of course a tour of the ongoing projects for you.

Disney Adventure World Passholder Previews

The dates everyone was waiting for have finally been announced.

  • Gold Disneyland Pass will be able to enter Disney Adventure World on March 15
  • All Disneyland Pass will be able to visit on March 18, 23, 24 and 25

Passholders will have to register online starting Tuesday. It’s expected one reservation per pass (adult or children version) will be allowed, and a time slot will need to be selected to smooth out arrivals.

Construction and Refurbishments

We start with the talk of the town, Disney Adventure World, where progress is being made on foundations for the Up spinner, expected for Adventure Way in the first half of 2027. Just behind, progress is also visible at The Lion King land. Hopefully all the very heavy work can be concluded before March.

Across the way at “Raiponce Tangled Spin”, a lovely little gazebo has been added near the attraction. Details continue to be applied to the show building as well.

The new Adventure Way Toy Story Playland access road also looks pretty much ready to go, albeit wearing some of its landscaping prep coat.

And not too far, the new merchandise shop is looking great!

Just like the Gazebo Gardens .. Gazebo which continues to receive theming and entertainment infrastructure.

In the “old part” aka World Premiere Plaza, the LED screen and new Stitch Live entrance is being built.

Over in Disneyland Park, the weather finally cooperated for the removal of the Christmas Tree. We’ll see it again in a few months for some new Christmas adventures..

In Central Plaza, planters have been updated for the return of “A Million Splashes of Colour” early February.

Main Street Station is also getting the same look.

A few much needed refurbishment projects are ongoing in the Fantasia Gardens, to fix the Gazebos and some of the walkways.

At Disney Village, walls are up around Annette’s, closed for remodel until 2027.

The new Disney Village security gates are also nearing completion, likely aiming to be operational do the guest influx of Disney Adventure World in March.

A lovely new design for the endless Disney Village re-imagining project. We’re getting there but there’s still a lottttt to do.

Lower down the street, the Disney Store sign has been removed as the space begins its transformation into “Disney Wonders”, to open by end of summer.

And all the way in the back, the new McDonald’s location looks almost McReady to go, with outdoor furniture and a lot of the fittings now installed. The restaurant is slated for an “early 2026” opening so.. anytime now!

And that’s our roundup of the latest from Disneyland Paris this week! Thanks for joining us as always and I will see you soon for a new edition.
