Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #220 – September 15-28, 2025

Welcome to a new edition! We’re back with a double editor after a weekend off for a team offsite at a competitor. Back at the ranch Halloween has been taking over Disneyland Park, we’ve crowned new Ambassadors, Castle Stage is back (sort of), and more. Let’s take a look!

Halloween

It’s almost October and even though it’s already in full force in the US Parks here in Paris we’re just getting started. Let’s take a look at the big unpacking for 2025.

Decor

Ghosts, planters, pumpkins, it’s all back this year with no major changes.

The Paris exclusive seasonal garlands are also back. Only missing for many years now is .. Pooh Balloon.

At the back of Frontierland it looks like Jack and Sally will take residence with a special guest: the virtual queue.

Merchandise

While Christmas arrives early, Halloween typically only gets unpacked mid September. A wide selection this year from plush to hats, jackets to glow in the dark t-shirts, snow globes and dishware, you’re sure to find the items that spooks your interest.

The UNLucky Nugget

Wadddyamean there’s nothing new for Halloween this year.

The Lucky Nugget has become UNlucky for the season and it would be hosting a wedding party if only the whole thing wasn’t doomed of course.

The groom’s initial is a nice touch. Yet the offering only includes the special decor and a Halloween Menu so don’t expect a show or characters but I guess that is something to claim as new for a season that is just screaming in horror for a renewal. Better luck next year?

Spooky time starts October 1.

Two Queens Stand Before Me

It’s that time of the year (well every 2 years) when we get to attend the Ambassador announcement!

The very emotional current duo Dylan and Jose was joined by Natacha Rafalski and Mickey and Minnie to announce the winner in dramatic fashion as always.

And after a male duo we’ve got a female duo! Congratulations Agathe and Monica. We look forward to see you in the works and of course st the opening of Disney Adventure World and the 35th Anniversary (what a good combo for this pair!).

Later in the day Agathe and Monica had their fist public appearance in a Main Street pre parade. They’ll be shadowing the current duo until the end of the year and officially take their functions on January 1.

Later in the day we got the chance to meet with the newly elected duo in the Frozen Suite at the Disneyland Hotel.

Construction and Refurbishments

We start at Disneyland Park this week where Castle Stage has finally been unveiled! The venue features new stage covering, anti-guests edges, new backstage rooms, upgraded technology and more. This doesn’t mean it’s going to be sued right away however even though the project is very late. Christmas is maybe the first time it will.

The Wishing Well area has also reopened, and the Control room and Terrasse.

Nearby Constellations has reopened from refurbishment and now features new doors – but they’ve kept the iconic door handles. Phew !

And over in Fantasyland, Meet Mickey is all boxed in for its winter refurbishment. Hoping for a themed tarp.

Over at Walt Disney Studios Park, this “Arendelle” directional sign popped up for just 1 day. Puzzling on several levels given that’s not the name of the land and it’s not opening – or soft opening, guys – until Spring 2026.

Nearby the transformation of the Tower Of Terror fastpass kiosk into an Adventure Way shop is moving along. I guess this also has to be ready for Spring 2026.

On the Disney Adventure World site it’s now down to the finer details more than the big reveals. However some nice elements continue to be installed like here at “Regal View Restaurant and Lounge”.

In the former Toon Studio area, the Mickey and the Magician tarp has finally been installed on Animagique Theater. it’s nice and colorful although doesn’t do much to elevate the cheap theme park vibes of the area.

An effort has been made to add directional lighting so it looks pretty cool at night!

Heading over to Disney Village where the Sports Bar remodel is getting more elements of theming including this kinda cool perforated metal cladding.

And at the front, pillars are in for the final security gate to serve the district (entrance or exit, time will tell).

This and That..

And here it is. From February 2026, Studio D will host “Minnie’s Dream Factory”, a reworked show where Minnie will lead Daisy, Donald and Chip ‘n’ Dale on an immersive musical wonder.

So – it has nothing to do with the original Dream Factory show except half the name and the set (too expensive to change). Got it! Let’s see how this turns out.

And that’s the news from Disneyland Paris! Thank you for reading and I will see you again next time for all the latest from the Resort.
