Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #217 – August 25-31, 2025

Welcome back to a new edition of the DLP Report! It’s almost September and the back to school vibes are here, with the return of the news cycle. We also keep track of ongoing projects, and more.

Unlucky

Leave it to Disneyland Paris to have their only substantial news in the Disney Eats Destination D23 panel (the irony) but hey it’s a pretty fun one: during the Halloween Season, the Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland will receive a spooky overlay and a special €30 menu. No need to reserve, but also there won’t be any characters or entertainment, just a little extra feature for a season that is in desperate need of a refresh.

Disney also unveiled these Phantom Manor printed vanilla filled eclairs, available at Last Chance Cafe. Okay.

The Disney Halloween Festival runs from October 1 to November 2 and, apart from the above, is expected to be largely unchanged this year.

Christmas

Not too long until Christmas now. This new promotional visual popped up recently (is it AI ?)

It’s late August which means Christmas merchandise has arrived in several shops. The artistic direction is cute this year, with a classic vintage vibe.

Plenty of returning items have also been stocked up.

And display theming is in place in the main shops where you can find chairs a corners: Emporium, Studio Store and World of Disney.

Disney Enchanted Christmas runs November 8 to January 6 and is also expected to be mostly unchanged.

Princess Week

And that’s a wrap for World Princess Week

A nice edition which did not have any special entertainment but relied on a big slate of meet and greets including for the first time at Disneyland Paris, Raya. See y’all next year!

Construction and Refurbishments

I’m contractually obligated to start with photos of Disney Adventure World and World Of Frozen.

Tons of popcorn-style light are being installed on facades and roofs of Disney Adventure World. Should be really cool at night!

And it’s all opening in Spring 2026.

Closer to the front, bronze chandeliers are being installed in the domed gazebos on Adventure Way. Good to see some finer details.

In World Premiere Plaza, walls are down around the new Studio D LED Marquee, also revealing a new slab of repaving.

Next door, Stitch Live has received Visa branding.

And in actual World Premiere, new animated backlit window displays have been added.

Over at Disneyland Park, work continues on the Space Mountain show building refurbishment.

And as part of this, the third redesigned turret has arrived.

This week we also witnessed testing for the new custom lighting that will trigger with each train launch. You can watch the video HERE on X

In Adventureland, Moana props possibly taken from a movie theater lobby replaced Zazu and Kaa. So many questions.

And on Main Street, the latest popcorn animated doll has arrived – Gibson Girl!

Over at Disney Village – you know what I’m about to say – the new McDonald’s is moving fast as usual – we’ve got windows !

And we’re also finally seeing a bit of visible progress at Casa Giulia.

This and That..

From October 18 until Spring 2026, Ratatouille will undergo an in-depth refurbishment that will include adding a brand new scene in the queue showcasing a Parisian artist’s workshop as well as set pieces, accessories, projections and technical improvements in the actual Attraction to enhance the immersion. In effect a leveling up to the Epcot version.

It’s the final countdown for the new Disney Davy Crockett Ranch cabins, opening tomorrow – September 1. Join us across our social media channels and right here next weekend to take a look at this upgraded experience.

World of Disney hosted a Lorcana special signing events where Guests could receive a free card and meet one of the artists, Kenneth Anderson.

And mark your calendars – the next D23 Expo will take place on August 14-16, 2026 in Anaheim.

And that’s the latest from Disneyland Paris this week! Thanks for joining me as usual and I will see you again next time with more news.
