Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #204 – May 19-25, 2025

Weeks come and go at Disneyland Paris and with the summer approaching we’re getting ready to enter the autopilot mode where not a lot of new things debut. Nevertheless we’re back with a quick update on the various projects. Let’s take a look!

Stitch

Yep more Stitch! With the release of the live action film this week, these free collectible cards were available from select Cast Members and locations.

Over in World Premiere Plaza, Stitch stopped by to do what he does best: deface things and in this case it’s the construction walls.

Construction and Refurbishments

We start in Adventure Bay where scaffolding for the kiosks (with the domes) is up to finalize the construction.

Nearby, work has started to transform the former Tower of Terror Fastpass kiosk into a shopping location.

However despite being near the Attraction, the shop will not be a Tower of Terror merchandise shop per se.

Talking about Tower of Terror, the Library screens got replaced for newer versions recently.

Everyone loves a good lamppost and which we company is supplying Disney Adventure World must have had a very very good year.

Going down the road, the Toy Story Playland entrance is moving along nicely.

The oversized strings of lights were installed this week and there are a ton of them, which should look great at night !

Next up we’ve got “Raiponce Tangled Spin” where scaffolding has started to come down, revealing a little bit more of the lovely theming for this show building.

Marching down to World Of Frozen, the North Mountain is looking good, with just a couple pieces of scaffolding left. The Ice Castle should arrive – ironically – over the summer.

Over a Disneyland Park, lighting for the new Casey’s Corner covered terrace has arrived – together with little notes for the electricians attached to all of them.

Castle Stage continues to make good progress, but there’s a lot more to do. Don’t expect a show here this summer.. or maybe not even this fall.

Scaffolding has partially come down at Chalet de la Marionette in Fantasyland, revealing another great roof tile refurbishment.

Things Disneyland Paris is good at: pavement, roof tiles, music. Things Disneyland Paris isn’t good at: refurbishing Sleeping Beauty Castle, food, making a new Attraction at Disneyland Park.

In Discoveryland someone went down to the DIY store to get the umbrellas for the upcoming Lounge Lightspeed popup bar.

As a result, the “free” showcase of the BDX Droids has now ended and they will exclusively be featured at Lounge Lightspeed from May 31.

And we end this week as Disney Village where a new stage and screen have been added near Earl Of Sandwich, likely to host the usual summer pop up events during the closure of the Sports Bar area.

And that’s our short and sweet update for this week at Disneyland Paris! See you again next time for the Lounge Lightspeed opening and more!
