Its been a couple weeks but we’re back with the latest news from Disneyland Paris! A lot of tidbits for this edition, with Disney Village getting a big share of the updates. Let’s take a look!
Disney Village

With the multi-year re-imagining of the entertainment district, there’s always a lot of changes but these past few weeks have had their load of updates, starting with this new pavement near Earl of Sandwich. It introduces cobblestones to the area, used to create a terrace area.

Nearby, Rosalie announced the future opening of its terrace “Petite Rosalie”

It’ll consist of a seasonal area (April to October) by the lake, in front of the new Disney Hotels security gates (carefully not pictured in the concept art).

Petite Rosalie’s menu will feature croque-monsieur, fresh salads, crepes, desserts, ice cream, and refreshing beverages.

The structure for the location has already been installed.

Next we have a closer look at the re-imagined LEGO Store, opening April 19 with its new photo location.

We also took a look at night – the store will feature most of the big Disney Franchises.

Next to the LEGO Store, it was announced that Deco by Disney, the new shop focusing on homewares, will also open April 19.

Down by the Sports Bar, it’s the end for the (arguably off brand) rock work side facade of the Disney Store. It always felt kinda weird.

And just outside Disney Village, it’s also the end for the Disney Arena which has now been dismantled.
Disney Music Festival

With the Disney Music Festival season starting in just a few weeks, the hype machine has started. Cast Members got a preview of some of the costumes to expect this summer, including Minnie’s marching band outfit.

And here’s a look at some of the merch for the season.
Disneyland Paris also released a clip of the theme song “Viva La Musique”, which you can find on our socials.

Likely in preparation for the new season, all the horrible “winter to spring” decorations have been removed. A lot is still a mystery for the Disney Music Festival, it’ll be interesting to see how it all comes together starting April 19.
Construction and Refurbishments

We start on Main Street with a project that’s been a long time in the making: Boardwalk Candy Palace, now presented by M&M’s.
From Disney: the shop has been completely redesigned, starting with its exterior façade, which features several nods to the M&M’S brand, including an elegant new window display depicting a boardwalk on a large, three-layered illustration, creating an illusion of depth.
The shop’s new floor is directly inspired by the seaside, featuring both shell motifs on a sand-coloured terrazzo floor and mosaics and colours reminiscent of the sea and the foam of the waves. On the ceiling, whimsical hot-air balloons – very fashionable at the turn of the last century – float in the air, notably in front of colourful frescoes depicting the sky, and made up of almost 35,000 M&M’S lentils.
Specially-designed cabinets house 30 large tubes filled with M&M’S, allowing visitors to buy these candies in bulk as they please. The shop’s cash registers have been repositioned in front of the 9.15-metre-wide mural depicting Atlantic City on a beautiful summer’s day and are surrounded by illuminated columns filled with colourful sweets.

The location reopens April 11, and we will be on site with our pals at M&M’s for a special preview.

Staying on Main Street, and with projects that are taking forever: scaffolding is finally down at the new Casey’s Corner Gazebo!

At Big Thunder Mountain, refurbishment continues and this week we welcomed back the main tower after a good refurbishment. New designs have also popped up on the construction walls. According to the Disneyland Paris servers the attraction may reopen on June 21.

Heading into Walt Disney Studios Park it’s a bench party. Round ones, square ones .. places to sit ?! Not long ago Guests were sitting on the floors along various walls. Progress.

At Animagique Theater, a ribbon of screens has been installed for showtimes and other information.

The American Chamber of Commerce shared this unique angle of Disney Adventure World from Tower of Terror.

On Adventure Way, things are taking shape nicely with more trees and infrastructure. A second row of walls is being setup for when the very front of the Avenue will reopen.

At World of Frozen, its business as usual with all elements of theming progressing. A lot of the work is focusing on indoor space now, and on the first tests for entertainment on the water.

Just outside, work has finally (re)started on planting trees on the Disney Adventure World berm.

And just outside the Park, the temporary Guest Services desks are ready. They’ll be used while the main building is being refurbished.
Join us on April 12 for a look at progress at Disney Adventure World and other projects at the Resort.

We end this section at Disney Newport Bay Club where a new photo location backdrop has been unveiled.
This and That..

The GOOD Margarita is back at Casa de Coco. Yes but it’s €1 more. You can’t have it all!

Disney Stars on Parade will reposition to 11:30am from April 18, ahead of the Disney Music Festival Season officially starting on April 19.

An option to Meet Stitch using the same Virtual Queue platform as the Avengers Campus Hero Training Center appeared in the official Disneyland Paris app. Although it’s unavailable for now, it’s hinting at plans to expand this system to other meet and greet locations across the Resort. Stay tuned!
