Welcome to a new edition of the DLP Report! After a little break, we are back. As often, there isn’t a lot going on when headliner seasons are ongoing but let’s have a look at the latest from the Resort!
Halloween

Well what do you know, Halloween – actual Halloween – is upon us. As with recent years, Disneyland Paris won’t be throwing a hard ticket event but instead offer a “light” special event programme included in admission.
The highlights include a full nighttime performance of Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, a return of the “Nightfall with the Disney Villains” nighttime show with fireworks, for one night only, and of course special characters like Oogie and Melanie Ravenswood. Also expect some custom spooky lighting and more surprises. We will see ya there!

This week was also the release of these pretty awesome limited edition pins, clocking at €25 for the painting and €60 (!) for the jumbo Melanie, in this awesome box.
Christmas

Christmas you say? Well yes, they’re very serious about Christmas in Arendelle and the decoration + the performance stage are already going up for World Of Frozen (Paris) first holiday season.

Over on the marina, a special edition of the show will be presented until January 6, but sadly the regular version won’t return right away – we will have to wait until April 3. So I guess the land won’t have any live entertainment for 3 months of the year.
I personally would love to see the numbers for World Of Frozen and the Disney Adventure World rebrand in general. Has it all lived to expectations in terms of revenue and attendance ?
Construction and Refurbishments

Let’s stay at Disney Adventure World where the upcoming Up Sky Swings attraction show building is starting to look a lot like the concept art with lighting, balloons and other theming elements being applied. We’re still missing one thing though: the attraction!the project is expected to open as part of Disneyland Paris 35 in Spring 2027.

Don’t get me started with this tarp.

Over at Disneyland Park everyone is getting a little antsy to see the end of the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge refurbishment, originally expected for late September and now a month behind schedule. It looks like we’re almost there however..

And as to justify why it’s taking so long, Disney has shared an inside look at the new paving and medallion installed on the bridge as well as the fresh rockwork and moldings. The structure has been treated for weather and the endless assaults from the Disney Tales of Magic fountains.

In Castle Courtyard the next (and possibly final ??) refurbishment project is Auberge de Cendrillon. The restaurant remains open, and while yes it’s all very needed, it’s a bit rough looking for a “premium” dining location.

Down by the hub, work continues on another restaurant renovation: Plaza Gardens. It looks like they’re at the facade cladding replacement phase. Refurbishment also continues inside well into 2027.

When some project start, some complete – at Colonel Hathi’s the restaurant has reopened and now features touch screen ordering kiosks like many quick service locations at Disneyland Park now (come on Bella Notte and Cowboy Cookout!).

And for some reason, Space Mountain was temporarily using the Disney Premier Access entrance for standby. The attraction refurbishment and returning is not planned until end of 2027, but a lot of preliminary projects are underway.

With Disney Wonders now open, all eyes are on the next venue to open at Disney Village: its Casa Giulia! The new Italian restaurant is expected by end of the year. From the outside, the decor, furniture and lighting look all in place and the venue will likely start testing the facilities soon.
This and That..

You can stream the very short song “We Can Be Heroes”, theme to Disney Cascade of Lights in loop on your favorite streaming service.

Disneyland Paris has released a Cluedo (Clue) game. In French and English, it’s available in shops now.

A notice is displayed at the entrance of the parks to explain how Disneyland Paris processes personal data from the photos taken at the gates, and options to opt-out.

We have a new CFO! Ju Majid has taken over as Chief Financial Officer of Disneyland Paris, succeeding Boris Solbach. She previously held the same position at Shanghai Disney Resort.
