Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #247- May 25-31, 2026

Welcome to a new edition! It’s been a pretty standard week at the resort, so let’s dive right into the latest updates:

Construction and Refurbishments

The talk of the town continues to be the summertime refurbishment of the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge which continues to evolve with various water levels in the moat.

Guest flows have changed so much that additional themed signs have been added to direct Guests to Main Street – why the weird accent and why no USA ? We’ll never know. More weird signs later down the page.

Across the hub, work is gearing up at Plaza Garden Restaurant with the scaffolding going up. The location is undergoing an intensive refurbishment that will see the facade, roof and interiors being redone until 2027.

On a more positive note, refurbishment of the Gazebo stairs is complete.

Jumping next door to the new cool kid on the block, Disney Adventure World, where the Sky Swings Attraction is looking more and more like the final shape with the addition of the domes, the roof and facade structure.

When finished, the building will frame Adventure Way nicely, mirroring “Raiponce Tangled Spin” across the road and helping with visual intrusion from Avengers Campus and the Theater of the Stars.

Testing also continues backstage for the Lion King attraction drop and layout, with additional elements added to the structure recently.

Much to my personal disappointment, the food chalets have returned in Place de Rémy. It was so nice being able to experience the land as intended, with plenty of space, benches, and peace and quiet but no. Must. Sell. Crepes.

Lots going on at Disney Village, starting with Annette’s Diner which is seeing all its windows replaced. It was much needed and will hopefully avoid additional maintenance down the road for this unusually shaped aging building.

Not too far away, casing for the backlit Star Wars lightsaber artwork is almost in its final shape.

The artwork will sit on the edge of Disney Wonders, helping bridge the gap with the Sports Bar area. Disney Wonders itself is making good progress as it rushed towards a late summer opening.

This weekend was one of the first test of the temporary guest flow management and temporary extended viewing area for sporting events at the Sports Bar, fulfilling its mission to.. do sports related things.

The new Disney Village signs are also starting to pop up, in a pop art style. They’re nice but many of you have pointed out these odd language choices with the first block in French and English subtitle, then English with French subtitle.. then no subtitle. I guess some focus group has enlightened this choice ?

In the back of the district, the “Summer Rhythms” stage is ready to welcome various seasonal entertainment including the traditional “Fiesta Latina” in mid-June.

And if you’re heading out to the bus station you’ll notice the Resort Busses now sport various Disney Adventure World wraps, promoting the various area of the freshly rededicated park.

This and That..

The Disneyland Pass Friends Tickets offer will return from visits between June 2 to October 15, 2026, allowing holders to purchase discounted price tickets for their friends and family. Prices vary by day and will be revealed when the offer goes live.

The designers of the LEGO Main Street, U.S.A. set, Ryan Van Woerkhom and Robert Lehman will be meeting Guests at the Disney Village LEGO Store this Monday, June 1, from 8pm to 10pm.

And Disneyland Paris will be celebrating Pride again this year with special happenings in the parks, on Sunday June 28. Expect a similar schedule as last year including characters, merchandise and a short pre-parade celebration.

And that’s the latest from Disneyland Paris this week! Thanks for joining us and I will see you again soon with a new edition.
