Welcome back! With the school holidays finally behind you, it’s back to normal in the parks but also back to routine refurbishments. We also have season dates and of course a check on current projects. Let’s take a look!
Mark Your Calendars

The Disney Halloween Festival returns from October 1 to November 2, 2025. Will this be the year we finally get a refresh? And/or will this be the first use of the new Castle Stage theater?

And Disney Enchanred Christmas will return from November 8, 2025 to January 6, 2026.
Disney Village

A special section for the Disney Village remodel again this week, with another nice milestone: the installation of this large(ish) Sorcerer Mickey LEGO mosaic. Mickey will be moving his head left and right to look at the Guests passing by.

Here are more photos of the installation.

Next door at Disney Deco, gone are the temporary prints on the facade as the permanent light boxes are being installed.

The final designs will show various “panes” reminiscent of the iconic multipane camera cells.

Nearby by Earl of Sandwich, repaving has progressed and surprise – its cobblestones. A gift to all of you stroller and wheelchair users.

The awning by Lake Disney across from Rosalie is also progressing. It looks like this could be new security gates.

And at the site of the new McDonald’s, pillars are starting to pop out of the ground.
Lots of activity at Disney Village, with the next milestones the opening of the LEGO Store and Disney Deco in April.

Separately, the district is ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day!
Construction and Refurbishments

Starting at Disney Adventure World of course with steady progress at the new Toy Story Playland entrance, with more infrastructure and a new backstage gate installed.

Adventure Way is also in constant evolution, in particular the gazebo in the English gardens, and a whole array of brick work, rock work, arches and landscaping.

At World Of Frozen we’re reaching the point when most of the outdoor facades are almost finished and work is focusing on the inside, hidden from sight. Nevertheless we’re keeping an eye out for the arrival of the Ice Palace on top of the North Mountain.

In a video this week, Walt Disney Imagineering gave a glimpse at the “Raiponce Tangled Spin” ride vehicle to which the fan’s response was mostly “is that all” and “it’s very small”.

Jumping over to the “old” Walt Disney Studios Park side, the mural that will serve as a backdrop for the Partners Statue is coming together.

And down by the former Toon Studio side, repaving and remodeling around Animagique Theater is not going very fast, it I’ll be interesting if they will manage to finish it all by the time Mickey and the Magician returns on April 21.

Outside the gates on the Walt Disney Studios esplanade, the temporary ticket booths are almost ready. They’ll replace the permanent ones while they are remodeled over the next year.

With the kids back in school, in both parks it’s time for a few closures of attractions.

On Main Street, the Boardwalk Candy Palace sign has been painted, and features the new sponsor M&M’s.

In Adventureland, lightly themed AV equipment has appeared likely for the rehearsals of the Disney Music Festival, starting in April. This is where the Matadance was historically performed.

Equipment has also appeared near the Colonel Hathi’s backstage gate, likely for the same purpose.

And the Videopolis curtain was closed, a rare occurrence.

Talking about the Disney Music Festival, more comprehensive concept art was added to the official website, showing some of the characters and costumes.

We also got a closer look at Donald and Daisy Accordionists. Can’t wait to see these fun costumes!
This and That..

After the grand opening a couple weeks ago, this week we got the chance to return to La Foret Secrete, the new Disneyland Hotel restaurant by Chef Jean Imbert, as guests of Disneyland Paris.

This was a chance to see the space again, try some more dishes, and exchange with the Disneyland Paris communication team. Thank you to all involved!

Select Disneyland Pass Holders now benefit from additional merchandise discounts until April 6: the discount over the period is 15% for Silver member and 20% for Gold.
