Welcome back to a new week of news from Disneyland Paris! In this edition we look at the Halloween wave taking over the Resort, a huge Disney Adventure World update and the latest project from the Disneyland Pass team.
It’s (almost) Halloween
After Frontierland last week, this week Halloween is taking over Main Street with its now iconic garlands.
We also see the return of the Ghosts of Main Street and the themed pumpkins on the roofs and balconies.
That’s right – 28 photos of merchandise because Halloween has finally been unpacked in the shops – more specifically at Flora’s and Thunder Mesa Mercantile. Some new items include more Stitch and refreshed versions of the plush.
There are also a few additions in Frontierland, like the entrance wreath and the future backdrop for the Mother Gothel selfie spot, the only real new thing this year.
Halloween celebrations are also unpacked at the Disney Hotels with themed pumpkins and custom decorations.
The Disney Halloween Festival starts on a Tuesday this year, October 1.
Disney Adventure World
We’ve got another big set of photos from Disney Adventure World this week where work is moving along nicely. Specifically we’ve seen some new mosaic, infrastructure elements (canopies, lampposts, decorative elements), roofing, paths and viewing areas all making progress around the Adventure Bay Lake. Progress is also being made at World of Frozen especially on the rock work.
The project is set to be unveiled in 2026.
Construction and Refurbishments
Or should I say DEconstruction for the former Planet Hollywood at Disney Village.
The iconic blue dome is being demolished in stages over the next few weeks / months. Some of the structure will remain as a base for a completely newly designed brick building hosting a restaurant serving food from the country that shall not be named.
Lower down into Disney Village, foundation work has started for the new McDonalds building.
At Disneyland Park, the Chalet de la Marionnette facade has entered refurbishment for several months. The restaurant remains open at this time.
And refurbishment of the Space Mountain show building continues with a whole set of stairs built right onto the dome.
Over at Walt Disney Studios Park, a new M&M’s self service dispenser has been built at Chez Marianne. Because what’s more French than M&M’s but at least it’s nicely themed. It’s expected the same type of offering will also come to Boardwalk Candy Palace.
This and That..
The next Disneyland Pass Party will be “Christmas Night” and take place on November 22. Tickets will go on sale on October 15.
