Welcome to a new edition of the DLP Report, a two weeks look at the latest from Disneyland Paris. As we approach “back to school”, the news cycle is restarting. We also take a look at new happenings, Lorcana and more. Let’s take a look!
Lorcahunt
Giant Lorcana displays appeared across Disneyland Park, for a Lorcana treasure hunt that was not really widely advertised but here it is. I’ll admit I’m no expert in Lorcana but the setup is pretty impressive and well done.
Armed with a special guide and free cards, guests must complete challenges across the park and visit various locations, including a dedicated “lounge” to collect and purchase special items.
The hunt continues until September 20, assuming while stocks last.
Miguel’s Fiesta Latina
The re-purposing of Disney Music Festival happenings continues with Miguel’s Fiesta Latina at the Adventure Way Gazebo, an adaptation of that was performed in Frontierland.
This production is a little different, features live singing and some musical props for guests to play along. You can catch the full show on our socials!
Pop Up Surprises
A new edition of Pop Up Surprises has started for Disneyland Pass holders, and talking about the Disney Music Festival, this time around it’s Conductor Goofy and “Daft Punk” Chip & Dale. The run is now largely sold out.
Christmas
September is here which means it’s time for the most lucrative merchandise push of the year: Christmas ! Emporium has received a lot of the season’s collections and more shop will continue to get fitted out in the next week.
This year you can find some new ornaments, spirit jerseys, hoodies and more.
Construction and Refurbishments
The next project to open at the Resort is now Disney Wonders! Teams are racing to install signage and artwork on the facade.
And Toy Story is the latest piece to be installed.
Work is also progressing nicely on the side entrance and on light testing, inside and outside. Disney Wonders is set to open very soon: mid-September.
We also got a nighttime peek at the upstairs dining room for Casa Giulia. Does this give office canteen ? I was expecting a bit more authentic decor.
At Disneyland Park everyone is waiting for the Sleeping Beauty Castle to be uncovered. Some pieces have been revealed but so far the big walls remain.
Basin and waterway cleaning continues, at Dumbo, and The Nautilus.
In Adventureland, work has concluded on these buildings refurbishment. It looks great!
The “it’s a small world” fountain is finally being cleaned and refurbished.
And in Frontierland, work continues on Fort Comstock.
Over in Disney Adventure World we’ve got a lot of nice little details now installed on the Up Sky Swings show building.
And the Animagique Theater facade tarp has been removed again. This one can’t catch a break!
This and That..
Disneyland Paris is rolling out a new Dining Plan for arrivals from April 1, 2027. On sale September 8, 2026. Open to Disney Hotels and Partner Hotels Guests. 3 formulas to choose from, except for the Disneyland Hotel (2 formulas incl 1 exclusive)
A new logo for the Disneyland Paris Partners hotel which looks suspiciously like the logo of your favorite fan media.
And Disneyland Paris is setting the expectations pretty low for its 35th Anniversary: “As Disneyland Paris turns 35, rediscover the timeless magic of Disneyland Park with some extra sparkles and special moments.” Very little information is available at this time, which feels pretty late.
