Welcome back! It’s March which means it’s officially Disney Adventure World opening month, and our report is mostly about this topic of course. Let’s take a look!
Disney Adventure World

With the Disneyland Pass previews fast approaching (relatively), we now have an official programme of what guests can expect when they visit Disney Adventure World before opening day. Most notably, it appears everyone will only get to ride Frozen Ever After once with a voucher given at the entrance.

A special mini collection will be available for sale (and restocked each day) only for the Disneyland Pass Previews.

In addition to Cascade of Lights, 3 shows will be performed in Disney Adventure World:
- A Celebration in Arendelle (World Of Frozen Marina)
- Musical Moment with Rapunzel and Flynn
- The Disney Marching Band

We also learn that the 3 Disney Adventure World lakeside food kiosks are named after Aristocats:
- Chez Marie which will serve “choux” based desserts
- Chez Berlioz, serving loaded potato pancakes
- Chez Toulouse, serving brioche bread sandwiches

Guests will also get to dine at The Regal View, with reservations coming online on the Disneyland Pass portal next week.

Talking about, the menu is now available. It mirrors in price Auberge de Cendrillon and other character dining locations.

The “lounge” part of “Regal View Restaurant and Lounge” features its own cocktail and nibbles menu. Finally a permanent purpose made bar lounge inside the parks.

Chef Olivier Arthur imagined a cosmopolitan cuisine inspired by these worlds but not a literal illustration. So less “forêt secrète” more “fancy regal lodge”.
An exciting part is that the Disney Princess will be wearing brand new exclusive looks. They’re travelling to their holiday lodge so they will be wearing outfits that match this vibe.

This week we also got a new look inside Nordic Crowns Tavern at World Of Frozen. It features nods to the Frozen stories: Lieutenant Mattias, Nokk, even the Royal Sommerhus in Epcot and the cat from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.

And here’s the menu. It’s giving IKEA but let’s wait until we can try it.

In merchandise news, this incredible countdown jumbo pin was released over the weekend for a whopping €60. It’s beautiful.

On the ground, the upcoming Up spinner on Adventure Way, which will sadly be behind walls until 2027, is making good structural progress which will hopefully limit the noise and activity once the area has opened. Behind it, Lion King Land is also taking shape, and that’s gonna be behind walls for way longer than 2027.

Across Adventure Way, it’s been all hands on deck before the first Cast Members Test and Adjust Days which have now begun. A lot of elements have been put into place, but landscaping lacks behind with many empty, brown sad planters. Hopefully the gardeners are waiting for nicer warmer days in March to plant these before the grand opening.

A crane for unrelated construction behind the park is still up, it shouldn’t be visible from the ground.

Outside THE gates, World Premiere Plaza is also getting ready with rope holes for the parade route, signage and lighting to backstage area and a cleared path to the road behind Tower of Terror which is the access point for all the preview days, and likely some of the media events.
So there you have it, Disney Adventure World, 4 WEEKS to official opening, Don’t know if I’m elated or gassy, but I’m somewhere in that zone.
Construction and Refurbishments

Remember Disneyland Park ? It’s also being sprouted up as execs and media will descend on the Resort in a few weeks.

At Cafe Hyperion, walls are up to update the ordering kiosks with a more permanent and better theme.

Guest Relations are also gearing up for the expansion, walls are up outside Disneyland Park.

And at Disney Village, the map has been updated to reflect the opening of the new McDonald’s location, which feels like ages ago already.
This and That..

Marvel artist Elena Casagrande held a drawing demonstration tonight in the lobby of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. More of these pop up events are expected in the future. Nice to see the hotel continues its mission to feature and promote the art and artists.
