Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #223 – October 13-19, 2025

Welcome to a new edition of the DLP Report! This week we’ve got some news about news about Disney Adventure World (that’s right), Christmas Event News, Disney Princesses and of course all the latest projects!

It’s Happening

A milestone Disney Adventure World media event will take place with a lot of new insights and information about the highly anticipated expansion project and, possiblyyyy, A DATE. That’s the good news. The bad news is that you’ll have to wait another month – hop aboard the hype train on November 24!

Evicted

Once or twice a year, there’s a special week when the Princess Pavilion gets refurbished (instead of demolished to build a better nicer one with better capacity but I digress!).

And that week is always a cute way to see a lot of Princesses out in the lands with lower waits and/or no reservation system.

The location is back in action now so it’s back to tapping that reservation button frantically twice a day!

Construction and Refurbishments

It’s happened. It’s gone.

The Walt Disney Studios sign had been erased from history, and the park’s main gate.

Water Tower, don’t look so smug, you’re next. One thing we haven’t seen is how the Disney Adventure World entrance signage will be implemented. Can’t wait to see how this turns out.

Staying with Disney Adventure World things, piling rigs have been operating at the Lion King land site, nice to see this already in motion.

In “old” Walt Disney Studios Park, Ratatouille has now closed for refurbishment and update until spring 2026. The Attraction is now fully 2D. It’ll receive this new scene in the queue (somehow that was a priority) and some technical enhancements. Once touted as a top of the line trackless 4D Attraction, it’s sadly become so.. mid.

Talking about updates, over at Disneyland Park we welcomed back Riberboat Landing and the Molly Brown but none of the promised storyline updates to Rivers of the Far West seem to have been implemented. Are they waiting for the next financial year or..

Some refurbishments in Discoberyland and hopefully a fix for whatever is happening to the water.

In Adventureland, Guests ripped out Hei Hei. I get it he’s cute but – no! So both Hei Hei and Pua are gone.

In Frontierland, work continues to fix the utility issue from made weeks ago. Interesting to see the issues as this park is getting older.

In Central Plaza, walls are now up around the original Show Control Room which is being upgraded.

And we had to stop by and enjoy Plaza Gardens Restaurant which is slated for a big refurbishment in Spring 2026, on top of no longer being listed in the brochure as a character dining location. Don’t touch the murals!

Over at Disney Village the Sports Bar continues to take shape. It seems opening is provisionally listed as late November but that seems unrealistic.

However McDonald’s looks like it could open any second at this rate!

GooooooodNewwwwws (Phantom Manor voice), the walkway between Disney Village and Disney Newport Bay Club has reopened. No more walking the long way around.

We also got this nice little gate as a bonus.

Talking about Disney Newport Bay Club, the AI Slop backdrop was replaced with a new version that looks less AI Slop. Just stop with the AI, please.

And across the way, chairs have been installed in the new little plaza by the security gates to relax and enjoy views of Lake Disney. Could Disney Village become (shock) a nice place to hang out ?

More of the walls are also down on this side. We’re getting there! Only 2 or 3 more years. Eek.

On the other side of Disney Village we’ve got some activity at Casa Giulia – the new Italian restaurant. This one is slated for end 2026.

And the support structure is in place for this huge building-height Star Wars Lightsaber artwork to be installed on the side of the future Disney Wonders shop. Kind of excited to see how this turns out.

I’ll close this section with these fun creepy characters from off-brand Halloween at Disney Village !

Let’s Have a Ball

We got more info about the December 5 “Christmas Ball” event on Dec 5. It’ll take place way too late for my taste from 10pm to 2am (with early entry available as usual from 5:30p).

The programme isn’t out yet but tickets are and sold out! We will see you there.

This and That..

Congratulations to the Disney Tales of Magic team, who won “European Top New Attraction” at the Parksmania Awards 2025!

And the “Disneyland Paris Express” fleet of buses which shuttles Guests between Central Paris and Disneyland Paris (+ regional tours) is getting a new design. Cute!

Well that’s our wrap up of everything happening this week at Disneyland Paris this week! Thanks for joining us and I will see you again next time with some fresh news.
