Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #214 – August 3-10, 2025

Welcome to a new edition! It’s the heart of summer and this week we became an Ice Palace Stan account. We also follow progress at Disney Adventure World and beyond. Let’s go!

Do You Wanna Built An Ice Palace

And just like that, Elsa’s Ice Palace has 70% materialized ok the North Mountain. Despite being a small element of the overall World Of Frozen and Disney Adventure World project, it’s iconic and has captured the attention of the community!

We followed the whole process so far, tracking each piece including the famous stairs which were lifted up on Saturday. So far the structure appeared bigger and bluer than in Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea where it can at times appear grey during the day.

Disney has shared that the structure is a 13 meters tall, 15 ton faithful replica designed and built in the UK. Once installed, the towers will feature more than 300 Swarovski crystal pieces (an exclusive to Paris?), shining over Arendelle day and night!

Disney Adventure World

This week we also had a lot of other updates from Disney Adventure World and World Of Frozen, starting the the Attraction’s sign now installed.

The Arendelle Friendship Fountain is also operational and in testing. It’s slightly larger than in Hong Kong.

Some great news for the swivel bridge which has received more theming and lampposts. It really looks great!

Around the lake, “Regal View Restaurant and Lounge” has received some of its iconic green domes.

And the new Toy Story Playland entrance road looks done, awaiting landscaping.

Also around Adventure Way, theming continues for the lovely “Raiponce Tangled Spin” building, and in the distance, Lion King Land is being prepped.

Land was also cleaned up around the show control building, likely to shield and provide access to the upcoming Up Spinner construction site which will be ongoing when Disney Adventure World opens.

And on the edge of the site, Peter Pan has been captured and wrapped in a pink blanket.

Construction and Refurbishments

Over in the “old part’ and Walt Disney Studios Park, a huge LED Screen has been mounted for the new Studio D entrance. Great more screens.

In World Premiere, a directory has been added next to a door in the otherwise inexplicably white entrance lobby, a reference to the animation building that “sits above” in theory. Cool detail.

At Avengers Campus, the A has been once again resurfaced with anti slip material. This has been an operational nightmare.

Jumping over to Disneyland Park, the is Station Plaza refurbishment project had completed.

On Main Street, the Main Street Motors sign is back from refurbishment.

At Castle Stage, blue and green coverings have been applied.

Over in Fantasyland, water is back at Dumbo after a good clean. Kinda makes you wanna jump in.

And Fantasyland Station is being covered in scaffolding.

Resulting in a nest box by the end of the week.

The lightning lane of construction site: Mc Donald’s at Disney Village.

The Sports Bar is also progressing with support for the new facade elements and preparation for the new flat skyline.

And the new Disney Hotels security gates are also looking promising, with screening machines now installed and landscaping in place for the area.

Well, that’s our summertime update! Thank you for following as always and stay tuned for more Ice Palace content in our next edition!
