Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #213 – July 27-August 3, 2025

And we’re back with a new look at the latest happenings at Disneyland Paris! This week we’ve got quite a few tidbits about Disney Adventure World, some dates and of course a look at the latest projects all around.

Disney Adventure World

With the opening of Disney Adventure World – and specifically Adventure Way / Bay and World Of Frozen now months away things are starting to heat up and tidbits of info are coming out.

In July, Disney registered the “Nordic Crowns Tavern” name which features the Frozen crowns, likely as a new name for “Two Crowns Tavern” (which I guess Legal didn’t look into at first because it’s a restaurant at Puy Du Fou), which already replaced the “Golden Crocus” name used in HKDL (probably anticipating the European Guests would not be able to deal with the name). So welcome to Nordic Crowns Tavern at World Of Frozen Paris!

On the edge of the construction site a new structure is being built, believed to be related to hight and track testing for the future Lion King Land Attraction. Curious eyes emoji.

Across the Disney Adventure World site, things are coming into place – landscaping, theming, infrastructure.

All will be revealed, in 2026.

Construction and Refurbishments

Staying at Walt Disney Studios Park, the entrance signs and marquees for Studio D and Stitch Live are being installed and – they’re gonna be big LED screens encased into a themed frame.

In Walt Disney Studios Plaza, stickers were added on the construction walls for the ticket office refurbishment – I guess in anticipation of the Disney Adventure World attendance.

Over at Disneyland Park walls are coming down at Space Mountain but works are far from finished. Painting is now ongoing on the dome recesses and works are still ongoing all over the structure including for the replacement of the spires.

Meanwhile Discoveryland has become one huge advertisement for Lounge Lightspeed.

In Fantasyland the refurbishment of Fantasyland Station is picking up steam and it looks like it’s gonna be substantial.

And it’s the Dumbo adjacent waterways turn to get a good clean.

In Adventureland – YEP – the Suspended Bridge is under refurbishment again..

In Frontierland, Big Thunder Mountain has received the latest of a series of self service Photopass Kiosk where Guests can just select their photo themselves and scan them to their card.

And it’s good to see these smaller details are getting some love.

Castle Stage is starting to look nice, with the stage floor being installed. Such a slow project but should be worth the wait.

We don’t often talk about Discovery Arcade but WOW for the first time in forever the skylights were on! They were designed to simulate daylight and make them look like open air was above them (when in reality it’s a show building). They might only be on temporarily but we sure hope this awesome effect returns full time with LED tech simulating the exact time of day! How cool would that be.

Heading over to Disney Village where the new McDonald’s is pretty much just about ready to serve you burgers at this point.

The new Disney Hotels security gates have progressed with the installation of the actual gates and more theming.

And at the Sports Bar, supports are in place for the new facade.

This is what it’s gonna look like – again not drastically different but a quality upgrade.

And at Disney Style, the Edna Mode design which was just a sticker at the back of the shop had been replaced by the final artwork – made of various 3D materials and brass. It looks great!

This and That..

Get ready to “create your world” as World Princess Week returns to Disneyland Paris from August 23 to 31, 2025!

And if you’re wondering why the Adventureland caves have been closed – later this Summer, a new permanent treasure hunt will be launched across the tunnels, inspired by the story of Pirates of the Caribbean. Guests will look for 8 lost objects – including a wooden leg, a pirate’s hat, and a bunch of keys lost by a dog…

And that’s everything new at Disneyland Paris this week! Thanks for joining us across all our medias as always and I will see you again next time with a new edition!
