Disneyland Paris News & Photo Report #230 – December 1-7, 2025

Welcome to a new edition! This week, holidays get raunchy with the arrival of Deadpool. We also cover the Disneyland Pass Christmas Ball, and more.

A Deadpool Christmas

This week Avengers Campus Paris welcomed Deadpool in his Santa Costume.

Deadpool rides his magical rainbow unicorn into Avengers Campus several times a day and performs a show not very different from the Guardians of the Galaxy with holiday songs and versions crowd interactions. The whole thing is in French.

As part of the show, this big chair gets rolled out for him and you may recognize it from the pandemic-era Princess Pavilion photo location. Nothing gets lost at a Disney Parks props department!

Deadpool will grace Avengers Campus with his presence until January 4, 2026.

Calendar Tink

The Advent Calendar tradition returned this year with a short happening on Castle Stage. Before you ask – there’s no story, there’s no prize or promotion. No cake. Tink comes up on stage and opens the door of the day to reveal a Christmas prop.

It’s cute, and Tink definitely works very hard for it with a super fast compilation of all the Tink moves. I’ll have what she’s having!

Let’s Have a Ball

Friday saw the latest edition of the Disneyland Pass series of events: the Christmas Ball 2025.

A Stitch magnet and a greeting card were given out to attendees as a welcome gift.

The evening started with a “Magnificent Opening” complete with pyrotechnics.

In terms of entertainment, one notable feature was an homage to legendary production “Forest of Enchantment”. The show was performed without Disney Characters in an “in concert” format, at the Frontierland Theater.

You can watch the full show in our YouTube video just above. It was lovely to hear these medleys and see the wonderful costumes again.

At Videopolis, another iconic show made its return: the Frozen Singalong. It wasn’t as good as we remembered it.

And the first real production on the new and improved Castle Stage: The Royal Winter Ball brought together Disney Princess and Princesses for a classic holiday royalty celebration.… in the pouring rain. Great job to the Disney Friends, performers, and our videographer, for powering through in tough conditions!

Of course Disney Friends came out to play almost of the evening – with some frustrations with the Fantasyland photo location opening times and organization. Highlights included the 3 fairies, Merlin and Dopey!

I often say this but just like with the one-day celebrations, Disneyland Paris has finally mastered the art of the Disneyland Pass parties. It’s not perfect, but they know how to cater to this category of guests: nostalgia, characters, and surprises. See you at the next one – will it be at Disney Adventure World ?

Construction and Refurbishments

Big Thunder Mountain closed abruptly this one afternoon and evening this week for an emergency intervention by Vekoma on a section of rails. This is what happens when you patch up your coaster several times instead of biting the bullet and retracking the whole thing over an entire year.

The attraction reopened as normal the next day, and all is well. For now.

At [BLANK], the Earfeil Tower has lost the Walt Disney Studios Park branding, erasing all traces of the current name in Front Lot. It’s expected to get the Disney Adventure World logo sometime next year. Feels weird.

Can you smell the friers heating up? McDonald’s at Disney Village is racing towards its early 2026 opening with wood cladding and interior fittings almost complete. That was fast!

This and That..

The Space Mountain Columbiad Cannon model will (finally) be on sale from December 12 at Harrington’s and Deco By Disney (LE 1000, €199). The Space Mountain vehicle model will be on sale in 2026.

And it’s been announced that the original voice of Rapunzel, Mandy Moore, went back into the studios to record welcome and safety spiel audio for “Raiponce Tangled Spin” at Disney Adventure World. Plus an HD version of the logo for the Attraction, for whatever use you may have.

And join us on Saturday December 13 for the annual insidears Christmas event, which will include some updates on upcoming features at the resort. Obviously a ton was just shared about Disney Adventure World but let’s hear about what else is coming up in 2026. We’ll have all the news back here next week.

And that’s everything from Disneyland Paris this week! Thanks for reading and sharing and I will see you again soon for a new edition!
